I have a new Saturday morning ritual. I leave my boys and forget they exist for an hour or so, go for a morning swim on the roof pool in some really cold water, and then sun bathe with a book. It's awesome. It's only slightly marred by the oodles of crow poop up there in and around the pool and the rusty old lounge chair that I sunbathe on.
Later this particular Saturday, we make a quick late afternoon trip to the park as part of George's resolution that we will get Regin outside more. It's nice, and Regin is so in love with the soccer practice he sees there (and inspired to kick a ball around himself), but late afternoon turns into early evening pretty quickly and then you have insects to deal with. I forgot the bug spray again.
