Penang -- Week 16 -- Not the Mail I Was Expecting

Week 16
FRIDAY, June 27th
We got our first real shipment of mail from the States this week!  I was thinking I was going to open the package, see mail for me and say, "Yay!  I exist!"  But there was only mail for George.  My parents receive most of our mail from the States, and they send it on to our Agilent address who, in turn, sends it on to us.  I contacted my parents to make sure there wasn't some of my mail that got lost in the shuffle, and nope, I haven't received anything!  Whuh?  It was after a few phone calls to them and the post office that everything got figured out.  See, George filled out a change-of-address for the family, but because we each have different last names, we have to fill out three separate forms.  If not, all mail gets returned to sender after 10 days of not being picked up.  So for three months all my mail has been returned to sender and I didn't know it!  Who knows what I've missed!  I am most upset about some magazine subscriptions.  I was so excited to get a shipment of Dominos, Luckys, and Cookies, you have no idea.  Now what?

Something that was in the mail was a nice little surprise:  A $3000 bill from Regin's surgery.  Effin great!  So much for traveling!
