We've been trying to get out of the house more and find some things to go see that would interest Regin and hopefully feed his mind a bit. So we finally took him to the Butterfly Pavillion, which he really seemed to enjoy, but we probably won't be back much, because it isn't terribly cheap, especially when you have no income.

Carefully picking up a butterfly.

This is his pride face:

Here he is telling us about one that landed on his shoulder.

Inside there was lots to look at, including star fish.

And you get to touch some star fish!

Getting into science.

There were lots of bugs to see. He liked the spiders.

He especially liked the centipedes and millipedes.
We 'met' Rosie, the tarantula they let you hold there. But you have to be three or older to hold her. It was fine though, because Regin was so terrified of the woman holding Rosie, he never would have gotten close enough to hold the spider anyway. He's so painfully shy. :)
