Penang -- Week 24 -- Fish Head Curry

SATURDAY (continued)
In the evening it's more walking along Gurney, night-time photography (I'm in love), and eating at restaurant number two.
Fish Head Curry.  Nope, it's not just a name.  And it's quite good.
Regin was absolutely enthralled with a large black moth we saw outside the restaurant.  Boy looooooooooves bugs.  And yes, those are the ever-present sunglasses he's wearing around his neck.  He's got his quirks!

This is a crepe place a few blocks from our apartment.  Lunch ladies?  Want to make the trek out here for one of our crepe lunches?  I'd have to just watch of course, but I'd be willing to suffer through it!

This building houses Cubar, that salsa club around the corner from us.

It USED to be the salsa club around the corner from us.  Apparently they stopped doing salsa a few months ago.  Bummer. Now they have a fish spa.  Seems like there are fish spas popping up all over here.  I first heard about them through Evelyn a month or two ago, now it seems to be the in thing here.  This one is cool because it is open until midnight.  George and I are totally thinking of doing this at the end of a date night one night.  And how cool that it's around the corner!  I know fish spas are weirding some of you out, but I'm totally game.  I'm just afraid of accidentally squishing those poor little fishies.

In case you're curious, this is what our parking spot looks like.  They sure love fluorescent lights here!

Regin checking the mail.

Riding the elevator.

Exiting the elevator in a mad dash to the door.

Our oh so protective front 'gate'.
