On Friday at 9am, my oldest nephew, Jakup Michael Euler, graduated from Golden High School, Golden, Colorado. I was excited and amazed that my nephew was all grown up already, but I guess I didn't think the graduation itself was a big deal since high school graduation wasn't a big for me. So I was so shocked when watching him walk across the stage, I began to get choked up. I was particularly moved also because my sister, his mom, JoAnn, a faculty member of the same high school, was allowed to present Jakup with his diploma. When he came over to us for congratulatory hugs afterwards there were many tears of happiness among us. His mom, my mom, and I were all crying. Who knew!
Who knew when JoAnn sent Jakup off on his first day of school 12 years ago that she'd be the one to also complete his schooling by handing him his diploma! (She was not a teacher then.) Check out the cutie (and his cutie little bro) back then...

Only 12 years ago now (only!!) I graduated from the same high school. Check me out!

Jakup is seated to my left at the table. See how cute? :)
I didn't get any photos of him in his cap & gown on the day of, but I did get a couple of shots of him with Regin. Wow what a contrast of sizes! Jakup is a giant compared to my little man:
In the fall, Jakup is starting school at CU Boulder, my alma mater.

Regin's Day in the Sun
Regin had his first time in the paddling pool this Memorial Day Weekend. He hated it, but he was so cute anyway, so here are the pics:

Huge Movie News For Elisabeth!
Ok, so I'm trying my hardest not to cross post, but sometimes the overlap happens and it's unavoidable. But at least I don't have to make you all read it twice, so anyway, check out the news on my movie blog! It's about 10mph, and it's really big! YAY!!!

In Search of Regin's Smile...
So I keep trying and trying and although I can get my little one to give me huge grins, whenever the camera is present he still gets shy and all I capture is little smirks. Here are my latest efforts. If you want to see a whole bunch more of these plus a few other recent shots, check out this album (37 pics.)
And just to prove that his smile gets bigger...
