We arrived at 6am this morning. The bus ride was even worse than I thought it would be, but not because of Regin. But we're here! Trying to figure out what to do today. I wanted to go see some elephants, but everything seems to involve trekking, rafting, riding elephants, or something totally not toddler-friendly. Last night while we were waiting for our bus at our 'bus station'-- more on that later -- an elephant came walking up in downtown Bangkok. OK, so it was a sad circus act, like an organ grinder's monkey, but it was still surreal to see an elephant in the middle of the city. Regin was excited about the "whatee" (from "elefante")!
Impressions of Chiang Mai so far: nicer than Bangkok. And HELLO cool weather! Brrrrr! We're going to have a rude awakening when we move back to Colorado in Feb.

I can't wait to see pictures of that elephant (I assume you took some!). I'm also looking forward to your return :). I need some help with using my wraps, I am having a hard time getting the hang of other carries that make more sense now that Lyric is older.
