Sorry I haven't written in a while. My laptop fell on the floor one too many times, and the screen is completely shot. I have been able to use it with an external monitor we had to buy (we both only have laptops), but the computer itself is slow, and I'm still learning how to use the new monitor, calibrate it, etc.. It may be a couple more days, internet permitting, before the posts begin again. In the meantime, I'll just give you this tidbit.
Our internet provider, Celcom, told George a week or two ago that they'd come over here to check out the service since the signal was fine, strong, and the internet fast at their office. Finally yesterday, they call George again saying, yep, they went to our area, and the internet is terribly slow. Now they will ask the local government if they can put something here, and then, when (if) it is approved, they will go ahead and put the thing and we will have awesome internet!!!
George asks, "How long will it take?"
"Don't know."
"Two weeks, two months? More?"
"Don't know."
Humph. So we are probably going to go ahead and shell out the money for a phone line and the other service which is slow but reliable.
