My mashush, for instance, after all that I wrote about how overly intimate my massage became, I neglected to tell you the worst part! Just towards the end, after the humiliation of boobs and belly, she pressed really hard just to the sides of my pubic bone!! I could actually feel a liquid (blood?) pooling and I couldn't (and can't) decide if it was a new-agey release of some kind of blocked chi or similar, or if she has damaged me and I was feeling the occurrence of an injury!
Another thing I forgot to mention about Shanti is that she spends a lot of time on the phone. I mean UH LOT. She has two cell phones she carries with her, and one of them is almost always either ringing or to her ear. AND, ever since she had her own set of keys, she enters without knocking, and she can come any time. She's been more then an hour early on occasion! Also, she is 33 - 100% more expensive than other maids I'm hearing about, and being that I just did our budget and determined that we have approximately $45 a month available for a travel fund, I'm wondering if I shouldn't look elsewhere. Sad to have to get rid of her though. I'm just not into firing people.
Some of you have mentioned that you've seen some weight loss in my photos. Just wait, there are photos in the Father's Day set that may shock you if you've seen me in the last year. Yes, I have lost a significant amount of weight. I started losing some of it before we moved here, but I've lost at least 20lbs since I peaked. My clothes have a distinctly tent-like appearance now. It's kind of nice and exciting, but a drag to not have anything that fits. I had an hour one Friday, a couple of weeks ago, to run to the mall and begin to fix my sad wardrobe. I started with bras, which are different here. I think I like them. There is more lift and they give a nice, retro-ish silhouette. Then on to clothes. I saw some clearanced linen pants. Hmmm... what size? Well, in the States I would definitely be a medium by now, but people here are a little smaller. Am I maybe a large? I was still giddy over what my scale had read that morning, so I grabbed the mediums -- couldn't get them past my hips. I grabbed the large -- I stuggled to close the zipper. Ok fine! I'm an XL -- nope no good. I can get it on, but it's too tight to flatter. So that leads me to one conclusion: I can only hope that I am not more than one size bigger than XL, because holy crud! I've lost all this weight only to find out that, by local standards, I'm at least a XXL! How sad!
On illnesses... I never did mention that I think I found the cause of my stomach pain: The dreaded 'H word.' Yes, skeptics, hypoglycemia strikes again! I went online after going to my bewildered doc and looked up some stuff. I happened upon an HG forum I sometimes frequent. People in there were describing the same pains I had, and you know? I have confused doctors with mysterious stomach pains since I was a kid. I know some people thought I was doing it to get out of PE, but I really did have fairly severe stomach pains and no cause has ever been found. On the HG forum, some are saying that the stomach is kind of like a second brain in that it has similar blood/glucose needs, and while you may often feel HG symptoms in your head, your stomach may also have a series of complaints due to the lack of glucose it receives. I think they suggested it was one or the other. So I may feel woozy with migraines one day but with no stomach pain, and terrible stomach pain the next but with a clear head.
On Regin's rash. Sorry I didn't write that he got better, but he did. The rash cleared up the day following his last doctor's visit. I know that one picture looked so sad, but I have several others where he is laughing and acting goofy. They just didn't show off the rash as well. He was and is fine, and it was a completely non-event. As for the possibility of malaria or dengue. Occurrences of the former in this area are very rare, and I honestly don't even hear much about the latter. And if you think that those diseases make Malaysia sound scary, think about this: There is bubonic plague in Denver! (2nd article)

Fixed!
are u sure u don't have PID? (pelvic inflammatory disease) I have long suspected that the four of us women have it. It is fairly common in women, and symptoms quite often mimic other syndromes and disorders. Way to go on the sling find. that is so very cool.
