I can't believe my little R is already 10 months old! Before I know it he'll be a year and then 2, then 5 then 10! He's walking around furniture (holding on) and zipping up the stairs, and before I know it he'll be walking/running and jumping over tall buildings in a single bound. He's moving on from purees to finger foods (feeding himself), and a discerning palate is already being formed -- No matter what I do with avocado, he refuses it. Too bad! He loved avocado only a month ago.
He's just fantastic. He's robbing me of precious sleep every night (worse now than ever) and every morning he wakes up smiling and babbling and stroking my hair and climbing all over me with impossibly sunny energy, and I have the strength to get through one more day. Still, I will be happy to have my sleep back if possible. It's wreaking havoc on my hypoglycemia and I am a terrible grump. Well, we're going to try the No-Cry Sleep Solution and see if that helps. Will report back soon.
Regin story of the week... Lately we've been having more problems with catching the poops with his potty training, and he's been having lots of nasty rashes. So after numerous recommendations that I allow Regin's bottom some air time, I decided, fine, let's go diaper free for a bit. So, Sunday morning his bottom had its freedom, and after a little bit he started getting quiet. So I ran over to him, hopeful that I would catch him pre-poop, and there he was, sitting on the floor in a puddle of pee and playing with poop like it was Play-Doh. It was in his fingernails, in between his toes, in his ear and hair. Yuck! So I plopped him in the bath.
