All is well!

So surgery day came and went and our little man is doing great. After we got him home from surgery, he kept peeing buckets. I guess another reason he looked so puffy yesterday was from all the IV liquids he got. Then he was ravenously hungry and continued to be so through the night. This morning he woke up bouncing off the walls, talking up a storm, and signing "potty" which he then went right away. He was more animated than I have ever seen him. Has his hernia been taking away from the real him all along, or is this the side effect of his drugs? He was also climbing all over me and saying "Mamma" a lot which I love.

Here are some of the photos from yesterday's experience. If you want an account of my experience through this, check out the last blog post which I updated throughout the day.

Before surgery he was charming everyone as usual.

He was very snuggly and sleepy after surgery.
