Howdy Folks! Finally back with a little photo update. I have an album up on Ofoto of all of our photos for August and September so far, take a look. Obviously this month is not over yet, so I'll be adding to that second album and you can check back later when it's complete. In the meantime, below is a sample of some of the newer photos...
I took this one day when we had a KILLER double rainbow with a full arc right through the sky touching the horizon on both ends. Unfortunately it was pretty much impossible to photograph that aspect of it. But equally amazing was its utter brilliance. I don't know if I have ever seen a brighter rainbow.Cool dude takes a dip in the pool and loves it!
Going for a ride on Mamma's back!
Cutie Patootie hammin it up for my cell phone. I just figured out how to get decent quality out of the cell phone pics using Photoshop Elements, yay! I think I might be doing this more often. I find these pictures kind of charming.Where's Omma? This is us waiting to see if Omma can webcam with us. Nope! Ah well!

Our Life in Pictures...
My new project (work in progress). As it turns out, sometimes saving EVERYTHING is a good thing (I hope). Among other things, I save every single photo that comes off any of our cameras, whether it's trash or not. And one day recently, while flipping through some of the old photos I noticed that some of them animate when you flip through them quickly. So I decided I will make a video of all of our photos. Not sure what the start and end dates will be of the photos, but here is a little sample. I haven't corrected the images here, but you get the idea. This just happens to be Regin's first two weeks of life. I ended up doing 4 frames per image, animation is usually more like 2 or 3, but that looked too fast. This looks to slow, so I may go back to three. Who knows. But for now...
The quality is all screwy, so I'll have to figure that out too. But it's just a sample anyway. I'll give you an update later.

PS That video is best viewed at a small size due to the quality issue. That's why I made the video really small on this page. So don't go to the YouTube page, just watch it here -- press the little play button.
